Abstract:
An air spring is provided with an upper face plate, a lower face plate, and a diaphragm (50) for connecting the upper face plate and the lower face plate. The diaphragm (50) has an annular shape and having an opening formed on the inner peripheral side thereof. In the diaphragm (50), an upper face plate contact section (52) which defines the opening and which is a region in contact with the upper face plate includes a deforming section (56) which is in contact with a support plate (11) and is thereby elastically deformed so as to protrude to the lower face plate side. The deforming section (56) is in contact with a slide member (12) located on the lower face plate side relative to the deforming section (56).
