Abstract:
Provided is a favorably functioning air spring for clearly minimizing or preventing a shifting movement between a lower bead part and a lower bead-receiving part, even when strong torsional stress acts on the diaphragm of a railway vehicle or the like which uses a bolsterless bogie. To this end, an air spring having an upper support part (1), a lower support part (2) positioned below the upper support part (1), and a diaphragm (3) made from an elastic material and positioned between the upper support part (1) and the lower support part (2) is configured in a manner such that a lower bead-receiving part (K) for supporting the lower bead part (3b) of the diaphragm (3) and constituting part of the lower support part (2) has a bead-receiving body (6) onto which the lower bead part (3b) is fitted, and an elastic layer (9) made from an elastic material and interposed between the bead-receiving body (6) and the lower support part (2).
