Abstract:
An air sterilization apparatus for producing and discharging hydroxyl radicals is disclosed. The present apparatus comprises: a solution storage part for containing a reaction solution which vaporizes into a reaction gas which produces hydroxyl radicals by reacting with ozone; a cartridge comprising a membrane formed on a surface of the solution storage part; and a cartridge containing part which is formed to allow the cartridge to be detachably attached to the cartridge containing part, and has an opening arranged therethrough, the membrane formed in the cartridge being exposed through the opening toward a pipeline through which external air passes, wherein the cartridge is mounted on the cartridge containing part such that the membrane is disposed at the bottom surface thereof, and the pipeline is formed such that the external air passes under the membrane exposed through the opening of the cartridge containing part.
