Abstract:
This air-supported belt conveyor device is equipped with: a conveyor body; a carrying-side belt supporting body in which are provided a plurality of air-blowing holes for blowing supporting air to between the top surface of the supporting body and the non-conveying surface of the conveyor belt; at least one air supply header provided on the lower part of the carrying-side belt supporting body and having a header chamber connecting to the plurality of air-blowing holes; and a blower for sending air to the air supply header. The air supply header is provided with an air supply opening for introducing air sent from the blower into the header chamber, a discharge opening provided to one or both ends of the air supply header in the lengthwise direction and for discharging, along with the air, dust that has accumulated in the header chamber, and an opening/closing device for opening and closing the discharge opening.
