Abstract:
The invention relates to an air surveillance system for detecting missiles launched from inside an area to be monitored, said system being provided with at least two monitoring platforms (1, 2, 3, 4) which are positioned outside or on the border of the area (G) to be monitored, in such a way that the area (G) or part of the area (G) lies between the monitoring platforms (1, 2, 3, 4) and each monitoring platform (1, 2, 3, 4) being designed with at least one camera system (100, 200, 300, 400) in such a way that the lines of sight (10, 20, 30, 40) of the camera systems (100, 200, 300, 400) on two monitoring platforms that are located opposite one another (1, 2, 3, 4) are directed towards one another.
