Abstract:
An air-to-air cooler for a permanent magnet direct drive motor, the air-to-air cooler comprising a top cooler (2) and a bottom cooler (13) which are respectively mounted to the upper end face and the lower end face of the permanent magnetic direct drive motor (1); the bottom cooler (13) comprises a heat dissipation tray cover (14), a top seal plate (16) and a bottom cooling cavity (15); the top cooler (2) comprises a heat dissipation cover (3), a bottom seal plate (5) and a top cooling cavity (4); hot air is fed to the top cooler (2) and the bottom cooler (13) via holes in the bottom seal plate (5) and the top seal plate (16), enters a top cooling air inlet chamber (10) and is fed to a top cooling air return chamber (12) along a top air duct (11); cold air enters from a top air inlet (8) of the top cooling cavity (4) and is fed to a top air outlet (9); the cavity wall of the top cooling cavity (4), fins and the top air duct (11) perform heat exchange; after the top air duct (11) is cooled down, the air is fed back to the motor through the top cooling air return chamber (12); and cold air is discharged via the top air outlet (9) after heat exchange; in the bottom cooler (13), hot air enters a bottom cooling air inlet chamber (21) and is fed to a bottom cooling air return chamber (23) along a bottom air duct (22); and cold air enters from a bottom air inlet (19) at one end of the bottom cooling cavity (15) and is fed to a bottom air outlet (20).
