Abstract:
An air turbine driving spindle (200) is provided with a rotating shaft (1), a bearing member (50), an outer member (65), and an O ring (24). The O ring (24) supports the bearing member (50) against the outer member (65) along the radial direction of the rotating shaft (1). Between a front-side end surface (50a) of the rotating shaft (1) and a rear end part (1b) of the rotating shaft (1), a thrust bearing (51) that supports the rotating shaft (1) along a thrust direction is formed. The bearing member (50) is configured so as to ensure a thrust gap (52) formed between a rear-side end surface (50b) and the outer member (65) while the rotating shaft (1) is rotating.
