Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an airbag cover which makes it possible for a wound or folded cushion to be stored in a shape fitted to a prescribed location in the cabin of a vehicle, and which is capable of protecting the cushion from obstructions; a method for manufacturing the airbag cover; and an airbag device. [Solution] An airbag cover 114 encases a bag-shaped cushion 108 which is wound or folded and stored inside the vehicle cabin, and which is inflated and deployed using gas supplied from an internal inflator 110. The airbag cover is characterized by comprising a first base fabric 128 which comprises a plain-weave base fabric or non-woven fabric made from chemical fibers, and a second base fabric 130 which is integrally connected to the first base fabric, contains fibers differing from the first base fabric, and has a higher initial tensile resistance value than the first base fabric.
