Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an airbag device capable of efficiently suppressing an injury value of an occupant in the event of an emergency. [Solution] The airbag device 100 is equipped with: an inflator 112 which is installed in a vehicle and is capable of supplying gas; and an outer bag 114 which inflates, by using the gas, into a predetermined shape in front of an occupant 134 seated in a seat 102 of the vehicle. The outer bag 114 includes: an outer base fabric 122 which forms an outer surface; an opening part 126 which is disposed in a predetermined area of the outer base fabric 122; and an inner base fabric 124 which forms a concave inner surface recessed from the opening part 126, and which inflates such that a portion thereof protrudes toward the seat side from the opening part 126. This airbag device 100 is characterized in that the inner base fabric 124 has lower tension than the outer base fabric 122, and the occupant 134 is restrained by use of the inner base fabric 124.
