Abstract:
An airbag 20 for this airbag device 10 comprises a centrally-deployed part 22 which is deployed obliquely rearward toward the center of a vehicle 1 in the vehicle width direction when the airbag 20 receives a gas supply and is expanded and deployed. The centrally-deployed part 22 is provided with a head receiving surface 22a which receives the head 3a of an occupant 3 when the head 3a approaches in an obliquely forward direction. A patch 30 is connected from both ends thereof in the vehicle width direction to the head receiving surface 22a so as to be slack against the airbag 20.
