Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an airbag device capable of efficiently minimizing the injury value of an occupant in case of emergency. [Solution] An airbag device 100, provided with: a frontal airbag cushion 104, which expands on the vehicle-front side of a driver seat 102; and a curtain airbag cushion 112, which expands on the outer side, with respect to the vehicle width direction, of the frontal airbag cushion 104. The frontal airbag cushion 104 has: an inner bag 120, which expands upon being supplied with gas; inner vents 128a-128d, which are provided to the inner bag 120 and which are capable of discharging the gas; an outer bag 118, which encloses the inner bag 120 and which expands upon being supplied with the gas from the inner vents 128a-128d; and outer vents 132a, 132b, which are provided to the outer bag 118 and which are capable of discharging the gas. The distance D1 between the inner bag 120 and the curtain airbag cushion 112 is less than the width W1 of the head 144 of an occupant 126.
