Abstract:
The present invention provides an airbag device which is mounted in a vehicle and in which a gas generator and an airbag are accommodated inside an accommodation chamber of an airbag module case, and the temperature inside the accommodation chamber can be controlled according to the temperature of the environment outside the gas generator, wherein the temperature control method comprises one or a combination of at least two methods selected from among methods (a) to (c) below. (a) The temperature control method uses at least one among a method for passing cold air, generated in a cooling device inside the vehicle, through the inside of the accommodation chamber, and a method for passing warm air, generated in a heating device inside the vehicle, through the inside of the accommodation chamber. (b) The temperature control method uses at least one among a cooling device and a heating device disposed inside the accommodation chamber. (c) The temperature control method involves a thermally insulating structure for insulating the inside of the accommodation chamber from changes in the temperature of the outside environment.
