Abstract:
Disclosed is an airbag door cover for a vehicle, comprising an instrument panel framework layer (1), a foam layer (2) and an instrument panel skin layer (4) sequentially arranged, and further comprising a reinforcement layer (3) compounded on the instrument panel skin layer (4). The reinforcement layer (3) is located between the foam layer (2) and the instrument panel skin layer (4). The instrument panel skin layer (4) and the reinforcement layer (3) compounded together are further provided with a skin line of weakening(5) successively penetrating through the entire thickness of the reinforcement layer (3) and the partial thickness of the instrument panel skin layer (4). The airbag door cover enhances the bursting property of the airbag at low temperature, reduces the risk of breakage and popping out of the instrument panel skin layer and foam, and enhances the safety of the driver and the passengers.
