Abstract:

The present invention relates to: an airbag fabric comprising a textile substrate and a coating layer on at least one surface of the textile substrate, wherein the coating layer comprises a polyurethane resin, a crosslinking agent, and a hydrophilic thickener; and a method for manufacturing an airbag fabric, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a textile substrate; and forming a coating layer on at least one surface of the textile substrate, wherein the coating layer forming step comprises the sub-steps of: preparing a coating solution by adding a crosslinking agent and a hydrophilic thickener to water-dispersed polyurethane; applying the coating solution to the at least one surface of the textile substrate; drying the textile substrate having the coating solution coated thereon; and thermally treating the dried textile substrate.
