Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to implement an airboat-righting device capable of continuously applying a restorative force on a capsized boat until the boat reaches a rotation angle at or less than the capsizing limit inclination and is restored to the upright position and capable of reliably restoring the boat to the upright position. The present invention is an airboat-righting device in which a propulsion propeller is installed on an engine that is loaded above the back section of the boat and is characterized in that: floats capable of inflation and deflation are set on a propeller guard, which covers the propeller; and a control means is provided, the control means controlling the state of inflation/deflation and/or the setting of the floats so that a force in a restorative direction for moving the boat towards the upright position, acts on the capsized boat.
