Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an airborne-salt-trapping device that traps an amount of salt commensurate with the wind speed and can trap airborne salt coming from various directions. [Solution] This airborne-salt-trapping device (10) is provided with an airborne-salt-trapping body (10) that contains the following: a material, namely a piece of gauze (22), that can trap atmospheric airborne salt; and a gauze holder (24) that holds said gauze (22) in a rolled, upright state. This airborne-salt-trapping device (10) is also provided with the following: a cylindrical body (24A) around which the gauze (22) is wrapped; a shaft (28B) that extends downwards from the bottom of said cylindrical body (24A); and a tray (26) that is supported on said shaft (28B) and catches salt falling from the gauze (22). The airborne-salt-trapping body (10) is contained inside a Stevenson screen (1) provided with louvers (2).
