Abstract:

An assist system (10A) comprises: a detection unit (12) mounted in an aircraft capable of hovering, the detection unit (12) being provided on the outside of the fuselage (31), and detecting objects that could be obstacles; imaging units (14) that capture images of the surroundings; a data processing unit (11); and a display unit (13), etc. The data processing unit (11) acquires data from the detection unit (12) and an avionics system (21), uses the acquired data to generate object type display data indicating the approach or possibility of approach of an object, and outputs the generated data to the display unit (13). The display unit (13) displays an obstacle status display image that schematically indicates the status of an obstacle in the surroundings of the aircraft, on the basis of the object type display data.
