Abstract:
An aircraft with imitation beetle elytron wings, belonging to the technical field of aviation. Imitation beetle elytron wings (2) are used as horizontal wings of an aircraft. The left and right imitation beetle elytron wings (2) are connected to a fuselage (1) by free hinges (6). The imitation beetle elytron wings (2) can automatically complete lowering and leveling movements according to forces encountered in different flight conditions. A retractable rotating wing (4) is mounted on an upper part of the aircraft, and vertical take-off and landing is achieved by the rotating wing (4). The imitation beetle elytron wings (2) lower and retract when the aircraft performs vertical take-off or landing, so as to be substantially parallel with the fuselage (1), avoiding blocking of a down wash airflow, avoiding aeroelastic vibrations, and eliminating interference of the wings (2) on the rotating wing (4). A horizontal propulsion device (5) mounted on the aircraft achieves horizontal flight. When the aircraft flies horizontally, the imitation beetle elytron wings (2) turn upwards and level out to become fixed wings, providing the lift force required for horizontal flight. The aircraft with imitation beetle elytron wings has a coordinated mechanism and a simple structure, is low-cost and highly reliable and adaptable, and can be widely applied to manned or unmanned aerial vehicles.
