Abstract:
This airflow control valve structure includes a metal rotation shaft which rotates about a rotation axis, and a valve body. The valve body comprises a connection unit which is connected so as to rotate integrally with the rotation shaft, and a resin valve unit which opens and closes a portion of the cross-sectional area of an intake passage. The rotation shaft has a first rotation shaft-side press-fitting unit and a second rotation shaft-side press-fitting unit which are formed along the rotation axis. The connection unit has a first valve-side press-fitting unit which is formed integrally with the valve body, and a metal fitting member having a second valve-side press-fitting unit. The first valve-side press fitting unit is fitted into the first rotation shaft-side press fitting unit at an angular position at which the phase is matched with that of the rotation shaft. The second valve-side press fitting unit is fitted into the second rotation shaft-side press fitting unit. The first rotation shaft-side press fitting unit is configured to be longer than the second valve-side press fitting unit in the rotation axis direction.
