Abstract:
The present invention relates to an airtight container including a cover and a main body that can be coupled together with a strong coupling force. The airtight container can be used for a long time without a decrease in the coupling force thereof. In addition, the main body can be easily opened or closed by means of the cover, such that the airtight container can be conveniently used. The airtight container according to the present invention includes: a main body forming a space for storing food, etc.; a cover for opening and closing an opening of the main body, and including a packing receiver recess for receiving a packing member for sealing the opening of the main body, wherein the packing receiver recess has an asymmetric structure, such that when the main body is opened or closed by means of the cover, a gap is formed between the main body and the cover so as to discharge air from the main body; and a locking unit for maintaining the main body in a closed state by means of the cover.
