Abstract:
The present invention allows the distal end section of a body fluid suction tube for suctioning body fluid such as phlegm and saliva inside the trachea to adequately suction the body fluid inside the trachea of a patient, the body fluid suction tube being constantly in an optimal orientation inside a tracheal insertion tube. A body fluid suction tube (1) inserted into a tracheal insertion tube (6), which has been inserted into the trachea, to suction body fluid (9) such as phlegm and saliva inside the trachea (8), and a method for using same, wherein, when curved inside the tracheal insertion tube (6), only the distal end section is urged by elastic force to the inner surface of the distal end of the tracheal insertion tube (6). The body fluid suction tube (1) is straightened in an unused state prior to being inserted into the tracheal insertion tube (6).
