Abstract:

Disclosed in the present invention are an alarm management method, an apparatus and a packet transport device, comprising: the pre-alarm status of a port of the packet transport device that a first module of a port is not configured is set to the state of suppressing the alarm that the first module is not configured, when detecting the alarm message that the first module of the port is not configured, it will not be reported; and when detecting the disappearance of the alarm message that the first module of the port is not configured, the pre-alarm status of the port is set to the state of suppressing the alarm that the second module is not configured, the alarm that the second module is not configured being the associated alarm of the alarm that the first module is not configured; when detecting the alarm message that the second module of the port is not configured, it will not be reported; when detecting the alarm that the second module of the port is not configured disappears, the pre-alarm status of the port is canceled. It can be seen that the present invention can not only realize that the alarm that the optical module is not inserted will not be reported to the user when the optical module is not inserted, and after a subsequent optical module is inserted, the corresponding LOS alarm information will also not be reported to the user when the fiber is not inserted.
