Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are an alarm method for an Internet of Things device, and a related apparatus, for use in obtaining different types of running data from an address pre-configured by an Internet of Things device and generating the running data into packet data in a preset format, such that a cloud server obtains alarm data in the packet data and convert the alarm data into unified alarm information, thereby implementing both unified description on different alarm data of the Internet of Things device and a smart alarm for the Internet of Things device. The method of the embodiments of the present invention comprises: obtaining different types of device running data from an address pre-configured by an Internet of Things device, the running data at least comprising alarm data of the device; setting the device running data according to a preset format to generate packet data; and sending the packet data to a cloud server, such that the cloud server executes an alarm to the Internet of Things device according to the alarm data.
