Abstract:

An ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer composition excellent in unsusceptibility to neck-in and stretchability and also in gas-barrier properties, etc. The composition comprises a blend of two or more ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymers, at least one of which is an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer having the following structural unit (1). Preferably, this copolymer is one obtained by copolymerizing 3,4-diacetoxy-1-butene, a vinyl ester monomer, and ethylene and saponifying the resultant copolymer. [Chemical formula 1] (X represents any bonding chain excluding an ether bond; R¹ to R⁴ each independently represents any substituent; and n is 0 or 1.)
