Abstract:

A monohydric-alcohol-containing emulsion which is stabler than conventional emulsions. The alcohol-resistant emulsion contains an emulsifying agent and either a monohydric alcohol or a solution in the alcohol as a solvent, and is characterized in that (1) the content of the monohydric alcohol or solution in the alcohol as a solvent is 10 wt.% or higher based on the emulsion, (2) the content of the emulsifying agent is 0.1-50 wt.% based on the emulsion, and (3) the emulsion type is an O/W emulsion, W/O/W emulsion, O/W/O emulsion, or S/O/W emulsion.
