Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an aldehyde scavenger that has excellent aldehyde scavenging properties and that yields a resin composition having excellent moldability (mold fouling resistance) when added to a resin. The present invention relates to an aldehyde scavenger containing: (1) a copolymer (A) including (meth)acrylamide (a) and an unsaturated monomer (b) having an acid group as constituent monomers; and/or (2) a mixture of a (co)polymer (B) including (meth)acrylamide (a) as a constituent monomer and not including the unsaturated monomer (b) having an acid group as a constituent monomer and a (co)polymer (C) including the unsaturated monomer (b) having an acid group as a constituent monomer and not including (meth)acrylamide (a) as a constituent monomer.
