Abstract:
Provided is an alicyclic epoxy compound product that is to be used for forming a cured product having high transparency and excellent heat resistance. In the alicyclic epoxy compound product according to the present disclosure, the purity of a compound represented by formula (1) is 85 wt% or higher and the total content of a compound represented by formula (a) and a compound represented by formula (b) is 0.5 wt% or less. In the formulae, X represents a single bond or a linking group. The alicyclic epoxy compound product according to the present disclosure can be produced via a process of dehydrating a compound represented by formula (1") to give a compound represented by formula (1') and then reacting the thus obtained compound represented by formula (1') with an organic peracid.
