Abstract:
An alignment film coating machine and coating method. The alignment film coating machine comprises: a station (1) for loading a substrate; a spray head (2) for spraying PI liquid drops; and air knives (3) which are disposed above the station (1) and located at one side of the spray head (2), and are used for, after the PI liquid drops are sprayed onto the substrate by the spray head (2), moving along the station (1) and blowing out a uniform impact air curtain to the PI liquid drops. The air knives are added in the alignment film coating machine, after the PI liquid drops are sprayed, the uniform impact air curtain blown out by the air knives is used to increase the diffusion power of the PI liquid drops, thereby avoiding Mura caused by a thick PI film around via holes due to aggregation of the PI liquid drops around the via holes.
