Abstract:
Disclosed is an alkaline primary battery comprising a positive electrode containing
a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode containing a negative
electrode active material, a separator arranged between the positive electrode
and the negative electrode, and an electrolyte solution. The negative electrode
further contains at least one compound selected from the group consisting of
tetramethylammonium compounds, tetraethylammonium compounds and tetrapropylammonium
compounds.
