Abstract:
An all-position welding method for a small-diameter pipe comprises: preparing a welding groove such that respective pipe walls of opposing ends of two small-diameter pipes to be welded form a V-shaped groove; performing tack welding at one point between the two small-diameter pipes to form a tacked spot; performing welding on a side between the two small-diameter pipes on which no tack welding has been performed to form an initial melt pool; and separately performing all-position welding from the initial melt pool, which serves as a starting point, to the tacked spot in a counterclockwise direction and in a clockwise direction, and completing the welding. In the invention, welding in a small-diameter pipe having limited operation space can be easily performed, thereby ensuring the quality of a weld seam; in addition, since welding needs to be performed only once in a left weld pass and a right weld pass, the method ensures high production efficiency and good practicability, and resolves the issues of the prior art in which joining operations for small-diameter pipes is difficult, undercuts and excessive height are prone to occur in a front weld pass of the weld seam, and recesses, overlaps, and poor forming are prone to occur in a rear weld pass of the weld seam.
