Abstract:
An all-terrain automatic control method and device for a vehicle, the method comprising: receiving an all-terrain automatic control request, and acquiring a vehicle driving state parameter on the basis of the all-terrain automatic control request (S11); determining, on the basis of the acquired vehicle driving state parameter, which type of road surface a vehicle is travelling on (S12); and controlling the vehicle to perform a terrain mode matching the determined type of road surface, wherein the terrain mode comprises a city road mode, a snow mode, a mud mode, a sand mode, and a 4L mode (S13). The method does not require human judgment on driving environments, enhances vehicle intelligence, and can be used to adaptively select and control a terrain mode that matches the current type of road surface, thereby improving driving performance of vehicles and related driving experience.
