Abstract:
The present invention provides: a novel antigen for an allergy to soybean; a method and a kit for diagnosing an allergy to soybean; a pharmaceutical composition containing the antigen; soybean or a soybean processed product, from each of which the antigen is removed; and a tester for determining the presence or absence of a soybean antigen in a subject. The present invention also relates to: a polypeptide containing an epitope of an allergen; a kit, a composition and a method for diagnosing an allergy, in each of which the polypeptide is contained; a pharmaceutical composition containing the polypeptide; and a food raw material or an edible processed product, in each of which an antigen containing the polypeptide is removed or reduced or the polypeptide is cleaved or removed. The present invention also relates to a tester for determining the presence or absence of an antigen in a subject.
