Abstract:
An alloy member according to the present invention is composed of an alloy that contains Mg and Li, in which the sum of the Mg content and the Li content is 90 mass% or more, and that has an α phase and a β phase, and has a first surface. The alloy member is characterized in that: the degree of orientation of the (002) plane of the α phase on the first surface is 0.20 or more; and the degree of orientation of the (110) plane of the β phase on the first surface is 0.20 or more, the degrees of orientation being obtained by using the X-ray diffraction method.
