Abstract:
The present invention relates to an alumina catalyst preparation method, an alumina catalyst prepared thereby, and a propylene preparation method using same, and, more specifically, to an alumina catalyst preparation method, an alumina catalyst prepared thereby, and a propylene preparation method using same, the alumina catalyst preparation method comprising the steps of: (S1) primarily calcining an alumina precursor so as to form a mixed phase alumina comprising 1-15 wt% of α-alumina, 60-95 wt% of θ-alumina and 4-25 wt% of δ-alumina; (S2) steam-treating, with water vapor, the mixed phase alumina at a temperature lower than the primary calcination temperature, and activating same; and (S3) secondarily calcining same at a temperature higher than the steam-treatment temperature and lower than the primary calcination temperature after the steam-treatment step.
