Abstract:
The alumina powder of the present invention comprises first alumina particles having an average particle diameter of 0.1 μm or more and less than 1 μm, second alumina particles having an average particle diameter of 1 μm or more and less than 10 μm, and third alumina particles having an average particle diameter of 10-100 μm, wherein each of the average particle diameters are measured by a laser diffraction scattering type particle size distribution measurement device, the average sphericity of the first alumina particles with a projected area-equivalent circle diameter obtained by microscopy of 0.1-1 μm is 0.80-0.98, and the ratio D90/D10 of the first alumina particles is 2.0-8.0, with D10 being the particle diameter at a cumulative volume of 10%, from the smaller particle side, and D90 being the particle diameter at a cumulative volume of 90%, from the smaller particle side, in the volume-basis cumulative particle size distribution.
