Abstract:
Provided is an aluminum alloy component that has an anodized film. Said aluminum alloy component is crack-resistant, has high surface smoothness, and cuts well but results in less wear on the cutting tool. The provided aluminum alloy component (1) comprises an anodized film formed on the surface of a base material comprising an aluminum alloy that contains, by mass, 0.5-2% iron, 0.35-0.6% copper, 0.35-1.3% magnesium, 0.2-1.3% silicon, 0.005-0.3% chromium, 0.01-0.3% manganese, and 0.005-0.1% titanium, with a zinc content limited to less than 0.25% by mass and the remainder comprising aluminum and unavoidable impurities. Crystallized Al-Fe-Si and crystallized Al-Fe with a maximum grain diameter of 30 μm or less are dispersed in the aforementioned anodized film with a mean center-to-center distance between 10 and 100 μm. In total, the crystallized Al-Fe-Si and crystallized Al-Fe constitute at least 5% of the area of the anodized film.
