Abstract:
Provided is an aluminum alloy brazing sheet for use in brazing in an inert-gas atmosphere in which flux is not used, wherein the aluminum alloy brazing sheet is characterized by comprising: an aluminum or aluminum-alloy core member; and an aluminum-alloy brazing member that contains 4.0-13.0% by mass of Si, one or both surfaces of the core member being clad with said brazing member, one or both of the core member and the brazing member containing one or more X atoms (X: Mg, Li, Be, Ca, Ce, La, Y, and Zr), and oxide particles that contain X atoms and that have a volume-change modulus of 0.99 or less with respect to an oxide film prior to brazing heating being formed on the surface of the brazing sheet by brazing heating. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an aluminum alloy brazing sheet having exceptional brazing properties in brazing in an inert-gas atmosphere in which flux is not used, and a method for manufacturing the aluminum alloy brazing sheet.
