Abstract:
Provided is an aluminum alloy brazing sheet which can be used for brazing aluminum in a nitrogen gas furnace at low cost without using any flux or any toxic element. A brazing sheet for brazing aluminum in an inert gas atmosphere without using any flux, said brazing sheet being characterized by being produced by cladding a brazing material comprising 6 to 13% (wherein "%" means mass% hereinafter) of Si, 0.004 to 0.1% of Li and a remainder made up by aluminum and unavoidable impurities on one surface or both surfaces of an aluminum alloy core material containing 0.2 to 1.3% of Mg.
