Abstract:
Disclosed is an aluminum alloy conductor wire which contains from 0.15 mass% to 0.25 mass% (inclusive) of Si, from 0.6 mass% to 0.9 mass% (inclusive) of Fe, from 0.05 mass% to 0.15 mass% (inclusive) of Cu, from 0.2 mass% to 2.7 mass% (inclusive) of Mg, and 0.03 mass% or less of Ti, V and B in total. With respect to this aluminum alloy conductor wire, if x (mass%) is the Mg content in the aluminum alloy conductor wire, the tensile strength thereof is T1 (MPa) represented by formula (1) or less and the electrical conductivity thereof is C (%IACS) represented by formula (2) or more. T1 = 59.51n(x) + 231 (1) C = 1.26x2 - 11.6x + 63.4 (2)
