Abstract:
The present invention relates to an aluminum alloy conductor with high heat resistance for power transmission lines and a method for producing same, and the aluminum alloy conductor for power transmission lines according to an embodiment of the present invention contains scandium and yttrium or scandium and zirconium. The aluminum alloy is subjected to hot extrusion and plastic working to result in the precipitation of scandium, yttrium, and zirconium. The precipitation leads to an improvement in maximum tensile strength, electrical conductivity, and heat resistance characteristics of the aluminum alloy conductor for power transmission lines.
