Abstract:
This aluminum alloy material has an alloy composition that contains 0.50–6.0 mass% Mg, 0–1.50 mass% Fe, 0–1.0 mass% Si, and a total of 0–2.0 mass% of one or more element selected from Cu, Ag, Zn, Ni, Ti, Co, Au, Mn, Cr, V, Zr, and Sn, the remainder being Al and unavoidable impurities. The aluminum alloy material has a fibrous metal structure in which the crystal grains are aligned and extend in one direction. In a cross-section of the aluminum alloy material that is parallel to the one direction, the average value of the dimension of the crystal grains in the direction orthogonal to the length direction thereof is no more than 310 nm.
