Abstract:
Provided are an aluminum alloy plate for a magnetic disk, a method for manufacturing same, and a magnetic disk using same. The aluminum alloy plate is made of an aluminum alloy composed of 0.10-3.00 mass% of Fe, 0.003-1.000 mass% of Cu, and 0.005-1.000 mass% of Zn, with the remainder comprising Al and inevitable impurities, and is characterized in that the difference between the area percentages (%) of second-phase particles in region (A) and region (B) divided by the average value of the area percentages (%) of the second particles in region (A) and region (B) is 0.05 or less, where region (A) is a region from a plane centered in the thickness direction of the plate to the front surface of the plate, and region (B) is a region from the plane centered in the thickness direction of the plate to the back surface of the plate.
