Abstract:
In a cross-section of a surface region of an aluminum alloy plate according to the present invention, the aluminum alloy contains a compound which contains aluminum and one or more elements that are selected from the group consisting of silicon, magnesium, iron, copper, manganese, chromium, zinc, zirconium and titanium. Out of 10 fields of view extracted from the cross-section, the number of fields of view containing the compound which has a circle-equivalent diameter of 5 μm or more is 3 or less. With respect to the cross-section, the number density of the compound which has a circle-equivalent diameter of not less than 1.5 μm but less than 5.0 μm is 0.0010 per μm2 or less; and the area ratio of the compound which has a circle-equivalent diameter of 0.5 μm or more is not less than 0.1% but less than 1.0%.
