Abstract:
This aluminum alloy sheet contains specific amounts of Si, Fe, Mn, and Mg, the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities. The sheet has a recrystallization ratio after hot rolling of not less than 90%. When the texture of a widthwise center portion and widthwise end portions is measured in a cross section taken parallel to the rolling direction at a depth of 1/4 of the thickness from the surface of the sheet, the difference between the area percentage of the cube orientation of the center portion and the area percentage of the cube orientation of the end portions is not more than 10%. The aspect ratio of crystal grains in the surface of the sheet after cold rolling is not less than 5.
