Abstract:
This aluminum alloy sheet is a rolled sheet having an alloy composition that contains, on a mass basis, from 0.50% to 1.10% of Mn, 2.85% or more but less than 3.48% of Mg, from 0.20% to 0.40% of Fe, from 0.05% to 0.20% of Si and from 0.01% to 0.15% of Cu, while optionally containing 0.10% or less of Ti on a mass basis, with the balance being made up of aluminum and unavoidable impurities. With respect to this aluminum alloy sheet, the tensile strength in the rolled direction after a heat treatment at 190°C for 10 minutes is from 280 MPa to 320 MPa; the difference between the tensile strength and the proof stress is 35 MPa or more; the conductivity is from 25% IACS to 34% IACS; and the creep strain rate after 60 to 80 hours from the start of a creep test at a material temperature of 80°C with a load to a test piece of 100 MPa is 3.0 × 10-4% h-1 or less.
