Title:
ALUMINUM-MADE HEAT EXCHANGER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/175066
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An aluminum-made heat exchanger in which joint parts 1 each formed by polymerizing edge parts of tube plates and joint parts 2 each formed by abutting an inner fin to each of the tube plates are brazed without using a flux, wherein the inner fin comprises a brazing sheet that is composed of a core material made from an aluminum alloy and an Al-Si-based brazing material. In the inner fin, both surfaces of the core material are cladded with the Al-Si-based brazing material. The Al-Si-based brazing material contains Si in an amount of 9 to 13%, also contains at least one of Mg in an amount of 0.2 to 1.2%, Li in an amount of 0.004 to 0.1% and Ca in an amount of 0.005 to 0.03%, and also contains one or both of Cu and Zn, with the remainder made up by Al and unavoidable impurities. The Al-Si-based brazing material has a solidus temperature of 570ºC or lower, wherein the solidus temperature is lower than the solidus temperature of an intervening Al-Si-based brazing material between the joints 1. According to the present invention, it becomes possible to reduce the formation of defective fillets in external-side joints positioned outside the heat exchanger, which may be caused when a brazing material is sucked from the external-side joints toward inside joints positioned inside the heat exchanger, to thereby improve part-part bondability in the heat exchanger.
