Abstract:
An aluminum material for an electrode of an electrolytic capacitor which has a chemical composition: Al purity: 99.9 % or higher, Si: 2 to 50 ppm, Fe: 2 to 50 ppm, Cu: 15 to 150 ppm, Zn: 1 to 80 ppm, Pb: 0.1 to 3 ppm, at least one of Zr and V: 11 to 100 ppm in total, B: 2 ppm or less, and balance: aluminum and inevitable impurities; and the above aluminum material which further comprises Ti in an amount of 1 to 30 ppm, or one or more Mn group elements (one or more of Mn, Ga, Mg and Ca) in an amount of 1 to 50 ppm in total, or one or more In group elements (one or more of In, Sn and Sb) in an amount of 1 to 30 ppm in total. A method for producing an aluminum foil for an electrode of an electrolytic capacitor which comprises rolling the aluminum having one of above-mentioned chemical compositions into a foil, and then subjecting the foil to a final annealing at 430 to 580 °.
