Abstract:
An aluminum thermal self-propagation gradient reduction and slag washing and refining-based method for preparing a titanium alloy, which relates to the technical field of titanium aluminum alloys. The method comprises: pre-treating raw materials; weighing the raw materials according to the following mass ratio: rutile or high titanium slag or titanium dioxide:aluminum powder:V2O5 powder:CaO:KClO3 = 1.0:(0.60-0.24):(0.042-0.048):(0.12-0.26):(0.22-0.30); using a manner of gradient feeding to perform an aluminum thermal self-propagation reaction so as to obtain a high-temperature melt; performing gradient reduction smelting; after feeding is complete, performing thermal insulation melting; then adding CaF2-CaO-TiO2-V2O5-based refining slag into the high-temperature melt; performing slag washing and refining; and finally removing the slag to obtain a titanium alloy. The method has the advantages of having a short process, consuming little energy, being simple to operate, the contents of Al and V in the alloy being easy to control, and so on.
