Abstract:
The present invention relates to an AMI system for performing phase detection and synchronization in an AMI communication network employing a relay communication scheme, and a method therefor. The AMI system for performing phase detection and synchronization in an AMI communication network employing a relay communication scheme according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an AMI server for collecting "phase-specific reference ZCD time differences" for a lead-out terminal of a main transformer installed in an electrical substation; and a data concentration unit (DCU) for comparing "phase-specific ZCD time differences" collected by the DCU over the same time period with the "phase-specific reference ZCD time differences" transmitted from the AMI server, so as to match the same to each other such that the former is close to the latter within an allowable error range.
