Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel amidine compound which can serve as an active ingredient of a highly safe herbicide which shows a reliable effect at a low dose. Also disclosed is a herbicide comprising the compound as an active ingredient. An amidine compound represented by the formula (1'): wherein G represents a nitrogenated hetetocyclic group which may be substituted and is represented by the formula (2'): provided that the nitrogenated heterocyclic ring of the nitrogenated hetetocyclic group is constituted with 10 or less carbon atoms and a 2H-indazole ring is excluded from the heterocyclic ring; Q' represents a cyano group or the like; and A' represents a substituted phenyl group or the like; and a herbicide comprising at least one of the compound as an active ingredient.
